River mooring

We are anchored in a river and sometimes the sea makes it presence felt. It went very, very still this afternoon and there was not a ripple on the water. The birds are noisy around here but even they stopped their racket. Looking at the river flow it was reversed and all sorts of flotsam was heading upriver. Bizarre.
While we are not watching the river’s moods, there are jobs to do – slowly, in this heat (@31c, 71% humidity). And so after each job a rest is required before the next one is tackled. and then it is time for a Sundowner!
