At last, on Tuesday 18th February, we arrived in Brazil. The trip from Ascension took us 10 days, 3 hours and 47 minutes and we sailed 1231.7 Nms at an average speed of 5kts. Not fast for a cat but given the light breezes, we did what we could. The marina we are in is the Jacare Village marina, situated a few miles up the River Paraibo in the most eastern province/state in Brazil.

 

The last few days have been difficult as Stephen has suffered from an increasingly sore back with pain shooting down his left leg. So our priority will be to find out what has happened to him, as well as check into the country.

So if no entries in the blog then we are busy dealing with medics and insurance companies. Will post an entry as soon as we can.
