What a pleasant sail we’ve had since leaving Ascension yesterday. As we are heading west, the wind is behind the beam and we are steadily heading West. Only another 1089 Nms to go! The sails have been adjusted once so far and that was to reduce the sail when the wind dropped last night. That stops the main sail flapping and creaking which usually drives everyone on board mad – it’s like an itch you cannot scratch.

At 09.00 hrs UTC, we had travelled 129 Nms, Wind 5-10 kts SSE, Air temp 29.4c, sea temp 27.8c, swell 05-1.0m.

All well on board with tans developing nicely.
