After 3 weeks and 1 day in Cabedelo, we have let the lines go and left the safety of the marina behind. To take advantage of the tide we anchored in the river overnight and pulled up the anchor at 5am (Local time) and zoomed the 5 miles down river and out into a rain storm. Welcome back to the whims of the weather.

 

Stephen had his last physiotherapy session yesterday, and for the sake of his back we are going to take the next few days as carefully as we can.

 

It is now 12.00 here (15.00 UTC) and have travelled 40 miles so only 1460 Nms to go to French Guiana! Till tomorrow – all well on board.
