Day 1 of our passage to South Africa. We left Reunion Island yesterday morning about 10am and at the time of writing have travelled 220 miles. We have been sailing – yes, sailing for 90% of that time and wind has been steady at about 15 knots, SE. There is about 1300 miles left to Richards Bay in the KwaZulu Natal province, South Africa.
All quiet so far with no wildlife report only a couple of passing ships.
Will listen on the SSB radio at 18:00 Hrs to see if there is anyone to talk to!
Otherwise all well on board – Patrick is cooking tonight so looking forward  to that.
TaTa for now.
