We moved from Jolly Harbour as the weather was becoming uncomfortable, and along with Oyster Moon investigated Carlisle Bay for an overnight stay. They decided to carry on to Nelsons Dockyard and we stayed here. It rained and the wind blew but our anchor was set well and really we had a comfortable night.
One of us went for an early morning swim before the sun arrived over the hill. It was so refreshing as well as an excuse for an early shower. The heat rises quickly once the sun is here.

The morning view of Carlisle beach. This is a very exclusive resort and yet the other end of the beach is well lived in. The big yachts (with staff on) anchor in the bay and take their clients ashore here for dinner!!

This morning's view from my kitchen - Carlisle Bay

And again - the sea view from my floating kitchen - Carlisle Bay.

Have a Good Hogmanay Everyone.
