Went for a walk on the 25th – quite a traditional thing to do. We headed for the Penguin colony on Boulders beach and enjoyed seeing these Cape penguins at home.

 

        These fellas mate for life and keep telling each other that they still like each other with lots of preening, canoodling and cuddling. They completely ignored us.

 

And when the babies come, they have the pick of community housing!

 

 

Even in the singles beach, they are always checking their feathers.
