Yes, we are still in the river at Kourou, Fr. Guiana. This is time out and while Stephen is recuperating I am indulging in a real readathon using real books. Don’t have many but am enjoying this nonetheless.

Everyday is different for Stephen and his back problem. Today everything is a bit easier than yesterday so definite positive signs. I went into the BIG forward locker and extracted two plastic garden chairs with arms! Now he can sit in relative comfort in the cockpit with good support.

Stephen bought the chairs in Indonesia whilst on a mad-cap tour around the town of Bima, Kombing Island. We have hardly used them but they are handy now.
