Thought this picture puts Australia nicely in context. The Cape York
peninsula (upper right), the size of the UK, is just a small part of Queensland.
We took the boat to the Whitsundays (note the errant apostrophe, just like the
UK), then went by land up to way north of Port Douglas, and after three months
have now sailed south to Brisbane. Sydney and Tasmania are still a long way off,
to say nothing of Perth!
