Just a quick note to say in case you hear of a
mid-Atlantic collision, that it was not us; we are OK. We got a Mayday call via
Falmouth Coastguard at about one o'clock this morning. There has been a
collision about 100nm to the NE of us. I don't know much more. I was able to
supply Falmouth (who coordinate UK marine rescues) with the details and phone
numbers of four ARC yachts much closer than us (it would take us about 15 hours
to reach the casualty) that might be able to
assist.
