My beautiful laundrette

Here we are back in the BVIs, in the laundrette, just as if we were students again. We have a small washing machine on the boat but it doesn't really cope with bedding and towels very well, so when we get a chance we go to a proper laundrette. Actually we normally have to use a laundry (ie. someone does it for you, at higher cost) because for some reason laundrettes seem few and far between out here. But we found this one within walking distance of the boat at the West End of Tortola in the BVI (this involves getting the washing into my large rucksack then dinghying across to the dock and then walking half a mile; then repeat in reverse). This cost $2 per load (we get two loads in the rucksack) as against $10 in a laundry).
And did you ever see a laundrette with a better view?
