As you can see we have left Bermuda, rather earlier
than planned. A weather window was open yesterday afternoon; if we hadn't gone
then we'd have had to wait at least another week. So after frenetic activity we
left at dusk yesterday in boisterous conditons. If all goes to plan the wind
should abate somewhat today and we should be left with a pleasant fast run down
to the Virgin Islands with clear skies and a beam wind (the best point of
sailing).
Trip is about 850 miles, of which we have done 105
so far. ETA about Saturday.
