We are 2/3rds of the way across Biscay, the weather
has been kind to us so far for Biscay, we are running down wind under the
headsail with a force 6 behind us, quite uncomfortable a bit like being inside a
washing machine.None of us got much sleep last night.
I seem to have found my sealeggs today otherwise I
wouldn't be writing this, just as well as its my turn to cook.
We are nearly in Spanish waters and it is
noticeably warmer I actually had my first sunbath on the deck yesterday, will
soon be shedding my thermals.
We are on course for Madeira, the wind is supposed
to stay from the north so we should reach landfall without changing course only
836 miles to go. The barometer is rising with a high coming in which means
better weather but possibly less wind.We have been averaging 160 miles a day so
far.
Hope all is well with everybody. Alison
