We’ve been at sea very nearly a week now, and the end is nearly in sight. Presently about 50nm off the pass into the New Caledonia lagoon, and hoping to get in this afternoon before dark. The entrance is lit by buoys, and there is a huge French lighthouse, but all reef passes at night are tricky so we’d rather not do them other than in daylight.
