1100hrs NZ time, 25.05.14. Now cleared out from Customs; fuelling up next then leaving NZ with wind on the nose and rain as a front goes through. The idea is to utilise the southerly winds following the front’s passing to get a big lift north and hopefully across the band of doldrums and into the south-easterly trades.
