We're off The Smalls, leaving UK waters in about an hour. Weather lovely, wind southerly F6 so we're tramping along ie about 7 knots or less than ten miles per hour. No-one is going to confuse us with a speedboat. Very strange living at an angle of 10-20 degrees and bumping up and down again after a couple of weeks tied up. Crew routine settling down; one person on watch at a time, three hours on duty followed by six hours off, and one person not on watch for 24 hours but responsible for cooking, washing up, weather and routeing (me today).  Weather ahead looks good - we're heading southwest, hard on the wind and trying to get as far west as possible before the wind turns northerly in a couple of days. If it happens it will be lovely, but I'll believe it when it actually happens.
