After a good sail yesterday in a stiff easterly the wind dropped and we had to motor again - big waves and no wind, a horrible combination. But the wind has clearly read the forecast at last, and decided to behave. So we're now cracking along in a strong south-westerly with only about 250nm to go. Should get in sometime on Saturday at this rate - but strong winds on the nose are forecast. All well - we're used to steering now, but looking forward with eager anticipation to a new autopilot.
