We're nearly there after the longest motor we've ever done. Horrible. I hate motoring - this is supposed to be a sailing vessel, but there just isn't enough wind to sail properly and without the autopilot the thought of another couple of days at sea crawling along really did not appeal.
So now we're less than 30 nm off. I have just been in contact with Bermuda Radio to advise them of our impending arrival. They offer an excellent service with quite outstanding radio technique - easily the best yet and making the US Coast Guard radio operators of our experience look like a bunch of ill-trained amateurs. We aim to be in the harbour fairway at about 1300hrs local time (1900 hours UK).
