Bas-du-Fort, Guadeloupe about to depart for the Saintes
Chris is rapidly improving,
but Le Doctuer wants to see her again next Wednesday (it's Thursday now) so we
are going to the Saintes for a few days and will return here next Tuesday.
Hopefully then, we will be allowed to move on to Antigua where we hopeto arrive
next Friday or Saturday. I must get a rig report for the insurance company and
this can be done in Falmouth Harbour.
The Saintes are very
commercial but have a delightful atmosphere nonetheless. We will probably hire
scooters and whiz around for a day.
On the maintenance front, I
have sourced some parts which are difficult to get on the English speaking
islands and we willnow work our way through our new stock of French
wines!
