Éowyn is alongside in Le Phare Bleu Marina, Grenada in position 12:00.180 N 61:43.447W

It took us a couple of days to sort out the mess left by the burglars and to install a burglar alarm, a little after the event. The items stolen were much as expected, 2 laptops, night vision monocular and several tools. The thieves were not too bright as they left the batteries and chargers behind! Jason Fletcher of Grenada Marine made all the right noises and we must move on and try to enjoy our season. We are both suffering from colds and it is surprising how much this slows you down!

Eowyn may make another Pacific cruise so I must ensure everything is up to scratch. The rigging must be renewed and as she is now 10 years old, much needs replacing eg. anchor chain. We moved to LPB marina to collect some new upholstery from Dave Royce and what I thought was re-bedding of the windlass. However when all was removed, the problem was much greater than thought as internal seals had broken down and there was much corrosion within the unit. The spares are on 2 weeks back order so Jason of Palm Tree Marine did an excellent job of salvaging the windlass with parts available on the Island. I will being the correct parts later in the year.

LPB is a delightful place but we always seem to be too busy repairing to enjoy the swimming pool and other facilities - never mind - maybe some time!

We have been on Grenada for 2 weeks now and have just moved 5 miles. Off to Prickly Bay tomorrow and up Island some time next week.
