Éowyn is still under way to
Marquesas in position 09:54.100S 138:21.410W on Thursday 25th March with
just over 90 miles to run.
We have carried the spinnaker
for 6 days and 5 nights. Finally in the earlier hours of this morning, we
overhauled Jeannius, Dreamcatcher and Ronja. To be fair, they are not pushing
hard as they do not want to arrive at night. We expect to cross the finishing
line between 0200 and 0300 local time. We are presently sailing at between 7 and
9 knots in pretty ideal conditions.
Hopefully we can post some
photos if there is internet at Hiva Oa
The anchorage has a reputation
for being rolly so we only expect to be there a couple of
days
