In Mauritius - Diving - Photos

Éowyn is still moored in
Caudal Basin, Port Louis, Mauritius in
position 20:09.610S 057:29.806E
As Chris is only here for 10
days, we have tried to limit boat maintenance to an hour or so a day, but
sometimes this has been difficult!
One by one, the remaining
yachts arrived each with their own tale to tell. Last was Basia, only
getting in yesterday, the 19th October to much applause, hugs and kisses. Three
yachts had spinnaker wraps, Wolfgang on Destiny spent 9 hours at the top of the
mast cutting his loose and John on Tzigane had to get into the water during the
4 hours it took them to free the spinnaker fouled in the propeller!
We have enjoyed the relaxation
of staying in Le Suffren hotel and even managed a couple of days diving - not
the best in the world, but we did get one deep wreck dive and on the shallow
dives there were many nudibranch's (sea slugs), Anemone fish (Memo's!), moray
eels and even a school of eagle rays. A selection of photos
