As usual, we were over ambitious with our time
planning and worked like Trojans for 3 days before we realised that we would not
be ready to launch until today, Tuesday.
We stayed nearby in the idyllic surroundings of
La Sagesse Nature Resort.
 It is great to get away to a relaxing
environment after a hard day's work. Mike, the owner is most accommodating to
the yachtsman's needs and the staff are first class. Back to our own cooking
now!
Our visit in August to work on Éowyn meant there
was only antifouling and some finishing off to do. I think everyone in the yard
thinks we are mad doing our own antifouling but it does have a therapeutic
effect!! The launch went smoothly and here is Éowyn trundling towards the
Caribbean.
 We also had Dave and Jane of the Canvas Shop,
make some winch covers and other goodies.
Tomorrow evening we set sail for Trinidad where
we have booked in to Echotec to have a watermaker fitted. Our plans have changed
a little and we will now delay our visit to Tobago until next
April.
