Éowyn is underway from
Recife Brazil to Grenada in
position 04:52.039S 035:04.585W
We started at 0900 yesterday
and the first 24 hours was a beat to windward. we are expecting that we will
take about 16 days for the 2,100 mile passage.
We were pleased to get away
from Brasil - maybe the stopover was a few days too long!
A last minute crisis involved
Thor VI as Rui's crew had to leave with a hip problem. we thought we might have
to lend him Mike but at the last minute, Luca, a personable Italian became
available and they are sailing together
