Éowyn is underway to Salvador, Brazil in position 13:21.563S 035:47.800W We  have just 160 miles to run of the total 3,500 from South Africa and expect to arrive in Brazil tomorrow afternoon. We hope to sort out several land tours there.

Very little to report except light winds. We try to fly the asymmetric but under 10 knots of breeze it just collapses. Tucanon with a parasailor can sail in only 5 knots. We are having to be very careful with our remaining litres of diesel, but I am keen to arrive at Salvador during daylight.

The paella was great, as was the duck Bob prepared yesterday. It was a canned meat but very acceptable. We only seem to get these premium canned products in French territories!! Mike is cooking tonight so we are guaranteed to have something with onions. We can't wait to get in to some Brazilian steaks.
