Adventures had kindly offered to be our Post Box for the small part coming from
Echotec in Trinidad and it only took a couple of minutes to get the watermaker
up and running again. We had treated ourselves to a lobster pizza at Mac's and I
am pleased to report that the antibiotics seemed to work wonders on Chris's
leg.
Lat Monday we duly set sail on the
12 mile passage to St Vincent and anchored at Petit Byahaut which was deserted.
The nature resort there does not seem to be up and running. Up at 0430 the next
day we set sail (or set engine) for St Lucia. The light wind was on the nose so
regrettably we motored most of the way, picking up a mooring in the inner lagoon
at Marigot. One of the main reasons to stop there is the delight of dinner at
the RainForest Hideaway - for me Jim Verrity's restaurant is easily the best in
the Eastern Caribbean!
In Rodney Bay the next day, the
marina was full with yachts having completed the ARC so we anchored in the inner
lagoon - remembering this time to use the mud anchor, having dragged there last
season.
We ordered the replacement
regulator from Regis Electronics and after saying farewell to Val & Mike
Birch we set sail again for Bequia. Conditions were varied but for the last half
of the passage we had an excellent 8 knot reach captured on film by local
photographer Kenmore Henville

Now moored in Admiralty
Bay, we are catching up with our Scuba diving and busily arranging Christmas
celebrations with friends on arriving yachts - this is the place everyone wants
to be for Christmas!
