Season's End

Eowyn

Éowyn is hauled ashore in Grenada Marine, St David's, Grenada in position  12:01.384N 61:40.730W We are now in the UK, recovering from jet lag and opening 2 months of post!

Our lay-up went just according to plan. The initial work including engine oil change and removing the sails was carried out in Le Phare Bleu Marina. We needed a day of dry conditions and we were granted it by the weather God. Once the sails are off dry, the lay-up is hard work but simple enough.

On Sunday night we motored to St David's ready to haul on Monday. Work was essentially finished by Tuesday and we had some time to relax in La Sagesse. For the first time, we have asked Island Dreams to carry out a monthly check on Eowyn. Fingers crossed!

Our season is at an end and we will return to lively Grenada at the end of November.
