We decided to sail overnight with the genoa and were pleased with the decision as the seas were pretty lumpy.

In the morning, we put the asymmetric up but just before the SSB net at 0900, it wrapped around the forestay. We managed to get it down OK but we need to wait for lighter winds before we straighten it out.

We are sailing again under poled genoa but are now making only 5 knots, compared with the 7 knots we were doing with the asymmetric
