Éowyn is at Isla Pedro Gonzales, Panama in position 8:24.681N 79:05.433W

The Las Perlas Islands are an archipelago situated some 30 miles South of Panama City.

We were relieved to leave Flamenco Marina at last and head South where we anchored in the channel between Isla Chapera (the location of the US 'Survivor' TV series ) and Mogo Mogo. We explored on foot and by dinghy but there was not any really unusual wildlife. There were 6 other World ARC boats here.

Today we have headed further South to Isla Pedro Gonzales, an island with a population of 500, renowned for herb plantations.  We will explore ashore tomorrow. We are now alone as the other yachts head to Ecuador and we spend more time in the Las Perlas.

We also experimented rather successfully with the Remoska electric oven to the tune of an apricot bread pudding, and baked potatoes and sweet potatoes.
