I am still rather behind in
updating this blog, but we have been rather busy for the last few
days.
After our Friday night
storm  in Tobago Cays, we headed off to Mayreau and walked up the hill to
the delightful Catholic Church where a year before, friends Jim & Maggie
from Ocean Jasper were wed. Of course we made the obligatory stop at Robert
Righteous the entertaining Rastafarian where Sue continued her sampling of
Caribbean rum punches - this time it was a real corker made with
firewater.
After this brief stop, I
motored to Clifton for a brief stop to clear out and then on to Chatham Bay
where we dined in some style at Aqua, the relatively new restaurant on the
shore.
An early start on Saturday
gave us a perfect sail with the wind at 20 knots just abaft the beam arriving in
Prickly Bay before Customs closed. We  had a few days to show Richard &
Sue the Island starting with a visit to St George, the capital. For us, the main
aim was to track down Devon Philip. We have known Devon for some 10 years
been told that he had been drowned in a boating accident. Fortunately, this was
not the case and after some enquiry, we found Devon very much alive and well and
pleased to see us.
On Sunday we motored to Hog
Island for lunch, but ended up having a delightful meal at Le Phare Bleu where
Dieter Burkhalter & Kay George were giving a jazz concert for Mother's day
(the American one!)
![]() ![]() We booked Rock Charles for an
Island tour on Wednesday and we were treated to his expert history knowledge and
an insight to his religion of "12 tribe Rasta" The night before we had eaten at
The Little Dipper, a tiny local restaurant run by Rock's wife Joan. Here are
some of the sights of the tour, Grand Etang rainforest complete with
monkeys.

![]() Thursday was the last day for
our visitors and after our farewells we made our way back to Prickly Bay to
settle down to 2 weeks scuba diving with Scubatech. Well I am only a week behind
now and will try to remedy that as soon as
possible
