Our stay in Tonga has been extended as on Wednesday there were gale conditions on our route to Fiji. This gave us the opportunity to spend yet more Panga and to enjoy Tongan hospitality. The Tongans have westernised more gracefully than many peoples and most still wear the traditional skirts albeit over jeans & trainers!

The weather has improved so we have cleared out and will leave for the 3 day passage to Savusavu, Fiji, tomorrow Friday the 18 June. We will be in company with Thor VI and hope to arrive Monday midday. Sadly, no more cinamon whirls from the Crow's Nest!
