Éowyn is afloat in Le
Phare Bleu marina Grenada
Position reports will now come
automatically every 3 days from our new Iridium extreme which has a tracking
facility built in. I am too mean to pay for more frequent updates!
As usual we stayed at La
Sagesse Nature Resort whilst we prepared Eowyn for the season ahead. We had
arranged for Island Dreams to make a monthly inspection and this worked out
quite well as they removed mildew as it was discovered so Eowyn was pretty clean
and sweet when we boarded last Friday.
Four days of work and she was
ready to launch ("splash" in American!) on Wednesday. The work we had went
smoothly and without a hitch so far. We motored round to Le Phare Bleu to finish
preparations with a little varnishing etc and we are now pretty much ready to
cruise.
We plan a very low key season,
probably staying in Grenada for Christmas before heading to St Lucia to return
home on 25th January
