Éowyn asymetric in Swedish Colours

On Monday 16th, we sail to Point a Pitre on Guadeloupe to pick up Joy and Mike. they duly arrived but without their luggage which had been mislaid by Air France. Fortunately it turned up the next day and we only lost a day. On Wednesday morning we sailed to Deshais and with an unusual wind direction of SSW, we were able at last to try our new asymmetric gennaker. This was a great success and even without the main set, pulled us along in very light airs.

Sailing to Antigua the next day, we cleared in at Jolly Harbour as I wanted to examine an outboard engine at the chandlery. The next day we motored to Falmouth Harbour and enjoyed the spectacle on Antigua Classic Regatta in full swing.
A Real Classic

We enjoyed the restaurants at Falmouth/English Harbours including Trappas and The Gallery and tonight (Sunday) we made the pilgrimage to the Shirley Heights barbeque and steel band
