Éowyn is underway 100 miles from the Galapagos in position 0:23.435N 87:49.575W
 

Last night we crossed the equator and Neptune 'blooded' Mike & John - a process which seems to involve the skipper painting his face green and the crew drinking champagne.

 

 

Although in light winds, we are reefed down to slow us so we do not get to the Galapagos before dawn tomorrow. Bristol Rose is still headed back to Panama but they are having problems arranging a haulout to get their prop and shaft repaired
