Salvador to Recife - Slow Progress

Éowyn is underway from Salvador bound for Recife, Brazil in position 12:22.3745 037:08.333W
 
We left Salvador on Wednesday and after a fast 2 hours, we were met by confused seas and a head wind. Even motoring we were knocked back and have averaged about 3 knots in the last 24 hours. After a morning slow sailing in pleasant conditions, we are motorsailing again. Our 3 day passage is likely to take 5 days!!
