2005/6 Season
Éowyn is presently ashore in Grenada at St Davids. We plan to return on 24th November to prepare for launch on Monday 28th. If all goes to plan, a new hole in the hull will be plugged by a skin fitting and seacock ready to take our shiny new watermaker due to be installed by Echotec in Trinidad. We will return to Grenada on 8th December to pick up crew - namely Richard Taylor and Rebecca Hitchcock. A 4 day sail to the BVI will be an invigorating start to the season. The rest of the plan is as follows.

First Cruise 2005. No crew spaces available

24 November - Fly to Grenada to commission Éowyn including antifouling, Watermaker seacock

28 November - Launch Éowyn in St Davids Grenada

2 December - Sail Tobago to Trinidad

5 December - At Echotec Trinidad for Watermaker fitting

8 December - Sail to Grenada

9 December - Joined by Richard Taylor and Becky Hitchcock

12 December - Sail to St Kitts from Grenada

15 December - Arrive St Kitts

18 December - Sail St Kitts to Tortola

Christmas - In BVI

28 December - Depart BVI to cruise Anguilla; St Martin; St Barth; Saba; Statia; St Kitts; Nevis; Montserrat

4 December - Joined by Vicki Neighbour and Martha Ashby in Antigua

14 January - Arrive Jolly Harbour Antigua to lay up afloat. Crew fly home

20 January - Fly home

Second Cruise 2006. Crew spaces available

15 March - Fly to Antigua

18 March - Cruise South to Guadeloupe; Dominica; Saintes; Martinique; St Lucia; St Vincent & Grenadines; Grenada

7 May - Arrive Grenada to lay up at St Davids

11 May - Fly home

Total sailing approximately 1500 miles 115 days
