The sensory overload continues as we arrive at Waipoua Forest, home of the mighty Tane Mahuta, which is the largest living Kauri Tree in the world. Te Matua Ngahere, the fattest living Kauri with a girth of 16.4 m,The four sisters, fused together at the base and Yakas a huge huggable Kauri, are all within a 2 hour walk .
