Returning to The Chesapeake!

The early start was well worth it! We hurtle down the Delaware Bay at between 9 and 10kts, and the current stays with us all the way through the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal to the Sassafras River. . WoW!
Although there are no fishing pots to avoid , there is lots of debris floating in the water, massive tree trunks and probably the odd carcass or two. . .
The Sassafras River is the first convenient spot to anchor after the C and D Canal . Its time to put the conservatory up, dig out the socks and discover the short falls in Bobs wardrobe, thank goodness the heater is working.
