The most northerly part of New Zealand mainland is a long skinny arm, 90 mile beach runs up the west side and the furthest point in a NW direction is Cape Reinga within a large area of National Park. Cape Reinga is considered by Maori to be the jumping off point for souls as they depart on their journey to their spiritual homeland. We spend a spooky couple of nights at the fantastic Spirits Bay DOC Campground . Sensory overload is becoming a real threat as we experience several more days of stunning NZ. Stopping off to check the lines and change the clothes , before we head North Spirits Bay a Ferret off to his spiritual homeland Mobile restaurant, again. . .
