Cumberland Island is managed by the National Park Service
The Carnegie Family rebuilt Dungeness in 1884, it later burnt down
The saltwater marshes on the island attract many birds, including wood storks!
Bob and friends walking to the beach on the East side of the island
Sanderlings on the beach
Live oaks provide a canopy in the maritime forest
You never know what you might find on the beach!
Yes we do get wet walking back to the dinghy!
Wild horses grazing on the shoreline,. Armadillos, Raccoons and Alligators  also live on the Island apparently!
