Port Clyde is a working harbour for draggers and fishermen. Its also the home of the 'Laura B' who ferries 1000 passengers a week to Monhegan Island during the summer.
The small harbour is dominated by Port Clyde General Stores. They rent moorings and sell everything from Diesel and Pizza to Pan scrubbers and live Lobsters. . . .just what we need!
After a short hike to Marshall point Light house to admire the spectacular views, we pick up pan scrubbers and lobsters (cooked for 2 extra dollars) and dinghy back to the boat for a feast!
