Yesterday we had chatted with the Whale Watching Research Centre who endorsed the whale watch boats. It seemed odd to pay for a trip on a boat, but we did anyway!
At 9.45 am we set off towards Stellwagon Bank. I was worried that the whales would have moved south by now but within 30 minutes we spotted the first humpback, blowing in the distance. Shortly afterwards we spotted huge splashes in the distance, another humpback tail lobbing. The display was awesome, we were really lucky to witness it. Photos will be posted on the blogg as soon as we get internet!
