The Maddalena Archipelago is a little known group of islands and islets off the north east tip of Sardinia. It is a protected marine reserve, but it is of course a very popular tourist attraction. Hundreds of visitors pour from tripper boats each day alongside visiting yachts.

It is tricky to time our arrival to miss the visitors, but once they have all left the tranquil yachties reclaim the beautiful tranquil anchorage. Let's hope the area is protected for future generations to enjoy.
