Hi dear family and friends, 

The beginning of a new sailing year brings mixed feelings. Living on the boat in one place for a few months is like setting up home. Time spent with family and friends, being part of local Spanish life and culture is lovely.

Sailing into the open sea and beyond the horizon means leaving it all behind, facing the unknown, facing beautiful sailing days or storms or difficult seas.

Sailing into the open sea also means new experiences, adventures and landfalls.

It never ceases to amaze me how yachts transform from homes to sea going machines, heeled over and cutting through the oceans.

This is the life of Tioram.........her crew are merely passengers.
