On 30th August at 08.30 we slipped our lines from the quay at Simi town with our new crew members, Jackie and John on board.
We sailed and motor sailed in variable winds from light to 18 knots the 39 N miles to Kos.

En route we saw the rare Mediterranean sight of a pod of dolphins and enjoyed the spectacle of sailing north past the dramatic mountain ranges of the Turkish Datca peninsular.

We managed to get into the very busy Kos marina----our nerves couldn't take another night of lifted/crossed anchor in Kos harbour.
We were able to show Jackie and John around the picturesque harbour and old town before enjoying a nice evening together.
