We lifted anchor from Ciprianu to head north along the coast. It seems that heading further north from the straits of Bonifacio reduces the winds which intensify in the 'straits' gap between the islands.
Feeling like summer had really arrived, the heat button was turned up the volume and in calm seas we could enjoy some quality time at anchor.
Baie de Pinarellu offers excellent protection in a large bay with lovely sandy bottom for good holding.
Ashore we had some fabulous Moules Marinera in cream and white wine.....simple and fab I a lovely beach restaurant......photos below. Great beach atmosphere and full on summer feel.
