Its the start of our 2014 season and we are very
excited. After spending the last 3 years in Greece we are off to the island of
Sardinia, a new adventure, to explore the Costa Smerald coastline of
northern Sardinia and visit our friends Lorenzo and Mabi who we met in 2009 on
the Atlantic crossing.
One person is missing :( Tina, she is
spending alittle more time at home with her parants before joining me in
Sardinia. Tioram is alittle sad this morning.... So for this trip I
have enlisted my friends Pete and Debs who have there own boat in Greece. They
have kindly offered to help me with the trip to Sardinia.
Today we are leaving from alittle place called
Sivota Mourtos on the Greek main land just south of Corfu. The weather forecast
is now good after a few days of gale force winds.
A final strange think happened yesterday.
We were eating ashore last night in a small Geek
restaurant, when on the way back to the dinghy we passed a notice on the side of
this small greek lane, it said "Costa Smerald" with an arrow pointing along the
road. How spooky !. This is were we are heading today. Life is very
strange
