Hi all

Whilst Tioram was safely tied to the dock in San Antonio marina, we decided to hire a motorbike to explore the hidden interior of Ibiza. Far from its 18-30 mass tourism reputation, the interior of Ibiza, the stunning landscape, sugar cube white houses, winding narrow roads through villages, passing churches and beautiful fields........a hidden gem.

We explored Ibiza a few days after the thunderstorm. The fresh rain after the thirsty summer had immediate impact on the terrain. It seemed to us that nature had christened the landscape again, the greenest of new vegetation springing from the terracotta orange soil, colours so rich it's hard to describe. We see change in the seasons in the UK but never so dramatic as in the Med. After the rain.......the sun comes out again and the clarity of the light is stunning.

Enjoy the photos of..

The interior landscape springs to life after the thunderstorm.

Interior villages, churches and craft/artisan shops.

Ibiza town out of season with the local fiesta, dancing and traditional costume.

Love to all
