At 06.30, yes 06.30 !! we slipped our lines from Patmos to sail the 75 n miles to Paros in the Cyclades.
The early start was a bit tiring after the broken night’s sleep with a neighbouring catamaran re setting his anchor at 1am, but it was a great idea as it put us ahead of the possible force 7 gusts and allowed us to make good headway in the early morning lighter winds.
We made great progress in a tight wind angle with Tioram bombing along in 14 to 25 knots of wind.
We sailed south of the Fourni Islands and Ikaria, then north of Naxos and rounded the north tip of Paros. The sailing was great, fast and we arrived in Paros at 18.00, stern to the quay.

We were keen to show Jackie and John  Paroikia, Paros town and all the things we had enjoyed in early June.

Love to all
