.........................And so Tioram safely and playfully completes her Eastern circuit after travelling 4, 177 logged nautical miles.

 

Last year, Tioram left Spain heading East to explore the islands and countries through the Mediterranean, with a winter stay in Malta.

She carried us safely across the Med, heading further East to our long awaited ‘dream’ of sailing in Greece.

The Islands of Greece gave us all we wished for and more, especially glorious Folegandros, Serifos and little Lipsi, Arki and Agathonisi.

 

We stressed over ‘lifted’ anchors and fended off rogue boats, protecting Tioram.  She in turn kept us safe in the strong Meltemi's.

We swam in bays with water as ‘blue and as deep as forever’ like Shirley Valentine.

We scootered around beautiful islands with spectacular Chora's, cliffs and coastlines.

We blessed Tioram in Panormitis, in a church dedicated to sailors and asked St Michael to protect her and all who sail on her.

Tioram headed back West again and so the journey is complete.

 

So now we have to plan a new future, and turn a page in our log book---- a new heading, will it be East or West ??
